Use MeetCap with your agent

Your agent, such as Claude Code, Codex, or Qoder, can record, write up, and look up your meetings when you ask in plain words. The MeetCap skill tells it how.

When you install MeetCap, it adds the MeetCap skill to each of these agents that it finds on this computer:

Antigravity, Claude Code, CodeArts, CodeBuddy, Codex, Copilot CLI, Cursor, DevEco Code, Grok Build, Hermes, Kimi Code, Kiro CLI, MiniMax Code, Oh‑My‑Pi, OpenClaw, OpenCode, Pi, Qoder, Qoder CN, Qwen Code, Reasonix, TRAE CLI, WorkBuddy

MeetCap adds the skill each time it opens, so if you install an agent later, quit MeetCap and open it again.

Any agent that can load skills works with MeetCap. If your agent isn’t in the list, tell it “Add the MeetCap skill from https://github.com/seacen/meetcap/tree/main/skills/meetcap.” You can also download the meetcap folder from MeetCap on GitHub and put it in your agent’s skills folder yourself.

If you use ZeroClaw, install MeetCap from Terminal. The install command then shows how to add the skill to ZeroClaw. See Install from Terminal.

After the skill is added, start a new conversation with your agent. Agents load skills when a conversation starts, so a conversation that was already open doesn’t have the MeetCap skill.

There’s nothing else to set up, and you don’t have to mention MeetCap when you ask your agent to do something. Your agent works with MeetCap whatever you choose in Settings › Minutes.

Say something like:

  • “Record this meeting.” “Pause.” “Resume.” “Stop.”
  • “Transcribe ~/Downloads/interview.m4a.”
  • “Write the minutes for Weekly sync.”
  • “Speaker 2 is Mark Chen.”
  • “What did we decide about the launch date last week?”
  • “Export yesterday’s meeting as a Word document.”
  • “Record the team meeting every Monday at 9:30.”

To answer a question about past meetings, your agent searches the minutes and transcripts in your library. It tells you which meeting the answer comes from.

Your agent starts or stops a recording only when you ask it to.

Before it deletes meetings, forgets a voice, clears recordings, or moves your library, it tells you what would change. It goes ahead only after you agree.

Your agent can write the summaries and minutes too. In Settings › Minutes, choose Your agent, when you ask it. MeetCap won’t start your agent for you. Ask it in its chat window:

  • During the meeting, tell your agent “Summarize the meeting so far” whenever you want a summary.
  • After the meeting, a notification says Transcript ready. Tell your agent “Write the minutes for Weekly sync”, with your meeting’s title.

If you forget, ask later. The meeting waits until your agent writes its minutes.

To have MeetCap run your agent in the background instead, see Your agent, run by MeetCap.

Before or during a meeting, tell your agent who is attending and what the agenda is. It keeps this with the meeting, and the summaries and minutes use it.

If your agent has tools that can look things up, such as your calendar or files, it uses them too.
